Since I graduated from Sacred Heart University I have joined an alumni chapter to continue to be part of this amazing organization. Zeta Tau Alpha's mission and purpose is to provide education and raise funds for Breast Cancer Awareness and Education. http://www.zetataualpha.org/cms400min/

To make a difference in the lives of our members by developing the potential of each individual through innovative programming, which emphasizes leadership development, service to others, academic achievement and continued personal growth for women, with a commitment to friendship and the future based on the sisterhood, values and traditions of the past.
Purpose:
The purpose of Zeta Tau Alpha is the intensifying of friendship, the fostering of a spirit of love, the creating of such sentiments, the performing of such deeds, and the moulding of such opinions as will be conducive to the building up of a purer and nobler womanhood in the world.

Angels On The Bay, a 100% not for profit charity which provides funds for children and pediatric services and medical equipment, education and the research of life threatening diseases. From designing an invitation for a specific fundraising campaign, to assisting with event planning, Angels On The Bay has a special place in my heart. Children's Health Foundation, is also a 100% not for profit charity which provides funds for children who are born with cleft lip, cleft palate, craniofacial disorders, requiring surgeries which are considered "cosmetic" and not covered by conventional health insurance. CHF also provides funds for children who are undergoing what is considered "experimental" chemo therapy which is also not covered by conventional health insurance. Over the years, I have designed, organized, and raised funds for various children in need.
